Data Sharing Network Project - Pacific Inland Resources The following CD was prepared by Ryan Hall of Silvicon Services Inc. All metadata was created by Ryan Hall for digital data collected from Pacific Inland Resources and the Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management. The metadata included on this CD can be viewed in either html or met format. The met files can be viewed using the Tkme software provided. This CD is the first phase of an ongoing project. The intent was to collect digital data required for modeling the Bulkley Sustainable Forest Management Plan, and create the necessary metadata so the files could be used in the Data Sharing Network. The priority was to collect digital data essential to the modeling process, such as base features and important timber, water, ownership and upper level planning features, as well as to establish a process for future data collection and metadata creation. The second phase of this project will be to continue collecting digital data as outlined in the data set spreadsheet and to update the current digital data and metadata files as required. It is important to note that information within the digital data and metadata is continuously changing; as a result, regular updates will be required to maintain accurate information.
